Desperate ER – A Big Shoot for a Big Campaign

Knowing that we were going to make a big splash with the End is Near/Wait is Over teaser billboards, we were determined to make the TV spots equally as engaging forSt. Anthony’s new InQuickER here in Oklahoma City. What would be the most obnoxious ER visit you could imagine? Well, that probably wouldn't be fit for broadcast television, so we tried to imagine a heightened reality of a crazy ER visit that would be suitable for air. We wanted to give it a lot of character and humor but hold the extra cheese.

Together with our partner Filmyard Productions, we enlisted the help of nationally recognized director Rocky Lane to help us craft the look and feel of the spots. We found a mostly vacated hospital in New Mexico for our fictional "Desperate ER" location which has also been used for TV shows such as Breaking Bad and In Plain Sight. Then we cast some of the craziest characters you never want to meet in an emergency room. I mean just thinking about the possibility of 'phlegm chef' coughing on me sends shivers down my neck and should encourage us all to use the InQuickER service at saintsok.com.

This was our second Red camera shoot for St. Anthony in the past year and we really appreciate the visuals this camera gives us, as well as the flexibility for our actors to improvise without wasting film. I really hope you will learn from this and reserve your time online so you will never have to meet 'tattoo girl, 'sad clown' or 'vomit baby' at your next ER visit. Join the cheerleaders, follow the band playing the hustle and skip the waiting.
